Ironstone

When iron curls like a brushstroke and is anchored in ancient carved stone a new balance is created, a juxtaposition of permanence and strength eroded and softened by time.  Our newest addition to the Forgé Collection for it’s wrought iron calligraphy, Ironstone could just as easily have found it’s way into the Bas Relief Collection.  In the somber colors of late fall this piece has a certain gravitas, a grounding that pulls us into it’s surprising comfort.  Nothing but contradictions here! One of our favorites…
